A five-story upscale apartment building with 437 units will be constructed as part of the Foundry Row community in Owings Mills.
Developers Greenberg Gibbons and Vanguard announced that they have contracted with AvalonBay Communities Inc., a multifamily housing developer, to build a new residential component that will be located on the southeast side of the shopping center across from LA Fitness. It will be known as Avalon Foundry Row.
Avalon Foundry Row will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The project will feature amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, clubroom lounge, co-working space, dog parks, and various courtyards with a swimming pool and grilling stations.
Brian Gibbons, chairman and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons, said, “The apartments will add an entirely new dimension to Foundry Row, making it a true mixed-use destination to live, work, shop and play.”
Greenberg Gibbons has previously partnered with AvalonBay at its Hunt Valley Towne Centre project, and anticipates starting construction this spring.
