Homeless and Public Services, Capital Projects
Nonprofit and government organizations serving Baltimore County citizens are eligible to apply for grant monies for the 2017 fiscal year (July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017) for homeless services, public services and capital projects.
- Homeless services include projects preventing homelessness or assisting those currently homeless
- Public services involve of employment, child care, health, education, substance abuse, energy conservation and welfare
- Capital projects relate to the removal of architectural barriers for persons with disabilities

Community Tobacco Education
The Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Behavioral Health offers education and prevention grant opportunities. Please note that the deadlines will remain open until all grant funds have been awarded.
Community, youth and faith-based organizations are encouraged to apply (PDF) for funding, up to $4,000, to conduct a tobacco education or prevention program in Baltimore County. The department intends to disburse 10 or more grants to applicants whose proposal best meets the needs of the county.
All programs must be completed by June 30, 2016. Schools are not eligible to apply for this funding.
