With a surge in COVID-19 cases exacerbated by the omicron variant, Baltimore County is expanding access to COVID-19 testing, including plans for the distribution of 100,000 rapid at-home COVID tests for residents and the expansion of county-run testing sites.
Effective the week of Jan. 10, Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services has expanded the county’s COVID-19 public testing clinic capacity. Updated testing clinic locations and times include:

The county is has moved to appointment only testing at county testing clinics. You must have an appointment to receive a COVID-19 test.Visit baltimorecountymd.gov/covidtest.

Rapid At-Home COVID-19 Test Community Distribution
100,000 free rapid at-home COVID-19 tests will be distributed directly to residents at 30 locations, including community centers and libraries. Information on the community test distribution schedule for locations most convenient to the northwest is below. The kits are available while supplies last.

As part of the county’s ongoing efforts, County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced several updates. Olszewski’s public health order requires everyone ages five and over to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces in the county until Jan. 31.
