The Maryland gubernatorial general election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4. To be make you exercise your right to vote, take note of the deadlines.
Voter Registration Deadline: Tuesday, Oct. 14. You can register at a number of locations, including at the Motor Vehicle Administration, Health, Social Services and Aging offices, post offices, public libraries, public colleges and universities, and board of elections. The Baltimore County Election Board office remains open until 9 p.m. for the registration deadline.
Public demonstration of voting units: Monday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m.
Early voting for Gubernatorial General Election: Thursday, Oct. 23, to Thursday, Oct. 30. Locations most convenient to the northwest are Bloomsbury Community Center in Catonsville, Randallstown Community Center and Reisterstown Senior Center Hannah More campus.
Gubernatorial General: Nov. 4
After the election, ballots will be counted as follows:
- Absentee Ballot Canvass: Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m.
- Provisional Ballot Canvass: Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m.
- Absentee Ballot Canvass 2: Friday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m.
