The eight-day early voting period, which ran from June 11-18, kicked off Maryland’s Gubernatorial Primary. In Baltimore County, the 11 early voting centers took on a mix of festive, slow and occasionally tense atmospheres. Candidates and volunteers played music, shared snacks and chatted to pass the time—sometimes outnumbering the voters.
