Baltimore County’s 2026 series of town hall meetings have been scheduled so constituents and stakeholders can have their say about ideas and priorities for the county’s FY27 budget. The budget is effective July 1 through June 30, 2027.
“As we face significant budget constraints this year, hearing directly from our residents is more important than ever,” County Executive Kathy Klausmeier said in her announcement. “Our town halls ensure that residents help guide some of our toughest decisions, and I look forward to working together with communities across every district as we navigate these challenges and continue building a stronger Baltimore County.”
Officials say each town hall event—one for each of the seven councilmanic districts— begins with a community open house from 6 to 7 p.m. Residents will be able to engage directly with department leadership and staff about their individual issues and concerns, learn about available resources, and share suggestions. The budget presentation, delivered by Klausmeier, with support from council members and department heads, will follow from 7 to 8 p.m. Attendees will learn about the budget process and hear about focus areas such as education, housing and development.
